Delivery Policy

At Slow Day Cafe, every cake and dessert is freshly handcrafted to order. Please read our delivery policy before placing your order.

Delivery Coverage

We currently deliver within selected areas of Johor Bahru through our third-party delivery partners.

Delivery availability and fees will be calculated automatically during checkout based on your delivery address.

Delivery Time

  • Delivery hours: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Customers may select their preferred delivery date.
  • Exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed as they depend on the delivery partner's route, traffic conditions, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Order Processing

Orders will only be prepared after full payment has been received.

Please ensure that:

  • The recipient's name and phone number are correct.
  • The delivery address is complete and accurate.
  • Someone is available to receive the order during the delivery window.

Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delays or additional delivery charges.

Transportation Risk

Our cakes and desserts are delicate, handcrafted products that require careful handling.

All deliveries are carried out by independent third-party delivery partners. While every order is carefully inspected and securely packaged before leaving our premises, movement during transportation may cause slight shifting of decorations, cream, toppings, or other cosmetic changes.

By selecting delivery, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with transporting fragile food items. Once your order has been collected by the third-party delivery partner in good condition, Slow Day Cafe shall not be liable for any damage, delays, deterioration, or losses that occur during transportation by the delivery provider.

If your cake or dessert is intended for a special occasion where presentation is especially important, we strongly recommend selecting self-pickup, as this remains the safest option for delicate products.

Failed Delivery

If the recipient is unavailable:

  • Our delivery partner will attempt to contact the recipient.
  • If delivery cannot be completed, the order may be returned or re-delivered at an additional delivery fee.
  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, no refunds will be provided for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect delivery information or recipient unavailability.

Product Care

Our cakes and desserts are perishable and should be refrigerated immediately upon arrival.

For the best taste and texture:

  • Keep refrigerated at 0–4°C.
  • Consume within the recommended storage period stated for each product.

Delivery Delays

While we strive to deliver your order on time, delays may occasionally occur due to heavy traffic, adverse weather, peak festive periods, or other circumstances beyond our control. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Product Condition

Please inspect your order upon receiving it.

If your order appears to have been damaged before handover by Slow Day Cafe, or if there is an issue with the product itself, please contact us within 30 minutes of receiving your order and provide:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photographs of the product
  • Photographs of the packaging

We will review each case individually and work towards a fair resolution.
